Resurrection Lutheran Church hosts a community garden on its property located on St. Paul Avenue within the Channahon Town Center. The community garden creates a space to grow fresh produce, to bring neighbors together, and to grow fresh produce for local food pantries.
Resurrection invites and welcomes you to garden a plot! You, your family, your organization, and/or your church are welcome to be part of the community garden.
2009 was the first year for the garden and it was a great success. 2010 was another good year and lots of fresh produce was grown and countless servings were shared with the community through the food pantries. If you would like to garden a plot(s) in 2011, please contact Resurrection and see the garden forms.
