All ages participate in the life of Resurrection Lutheran Church! Below you will find upcoming events and examples of past events for youth and children Pre-School through High School Youth. Everyone is invited and welcome to participate in these programs. Please contact Resurrection for more information.
Sunday School
Sunday School is an intergenerational program that meets after worship on Sunday mornings during the school year. The goals of Sunday School are to 1) make the connection between faith and daily living, 2) help families connect, 3) model faith formation that can happen in the home, 4) and create a setting where all ages can grow in Christian discipleship together.
Pre-School through 6th Grade
Vacation Bible School: one week of Bible stories, crafts, songs, and a meal, (summer)
Trunks and Treats: crafts, games, songs, and costumes, (October)
Seaonal events throughout the year
7th & 8th Grade
Confirmation: two year program affirming God's gift of Baptism; classes (Weds 6-7PM), retreats, service, worship
Fun & Fellowship Events: such as rock climbing, ski trips
Glorious Noise
People of all ages have been learning how to play the guitar and the drums.
Classes in a particular instrument are for several weeks and then the participants help lead music during worship.
Baptism
At Resurrection all ages receive God's gift of Holy Baptism from infants to adults. In Baptism we receive the gift of God's grace in Jesus Christ. Please contact Pastor Ben for more information.
